The Certified OR Tech will be responsible for providing support in the operating room with a focus on scrubbing for pediatric ENT and plastic surgery cases. The position may require floating between units including an outpatient surgical center and taking on-call shifts including weeknights and weekends.
The Certified OR Tech will be responsible for providing support in the operating room with a focus on scrubbing for pediatric ENT and plastic surgery cases. Location:Spokane Washington United States
Responsibilities:
- Proficiently scrub for pediatric ENT and plastic surgery cases.
- Float between units as needed including to an outpatient surgical center.
- Take on-call shifts to meet departmental needs including weeknights and weekends.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control policies.
- Proficiently scrub for pediatric ENT and plastic surgery cases.
- Float between units as needed including to an outpatient surgical center.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Certified OR Tech certification.
- Proficient in scrubbing pediatric ENT and plastic surgery cases.
- BLS certification.
- Certified OR Tech certification.
- Proficient in scrubbing pediatric ENT and plastic surgery cases.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to float between units including to an outpatient surgical center.
- On-call shifts are required and may include weeknights and weekends.
- Weekend shifts are required.
- No block schedules are available.
- Expected ratio is 1:1.
