Job Overview / Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients develop recover and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient-centered therapy services across various care settings.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients physical psychological and cognitive conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily functioning
- Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility and independence
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and adaptive strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
Primary Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Occupational Therapy license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience in Outpatient Rehabilitation or Acute Care settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Time management and organizational skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Valid state licensure and certifications as required
- Knowledge of therapy practices patient care standards and rehabilitation techniques
