JOB TITLE: F-16 Avionics Technician - 1st Shift - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Greenville SC
PAY RATE: $34-40/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Active Secret clearance is preferred but not required to start. Please begin the clearance process upon offer acceptance.
1st Shift: Mon Thurs 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
2nd Shift: Mon Thurs 4:30 PM 3:00 AM
Weekend Shift: Thurs Sun 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations
Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role
Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary

Summary:

Test and install electrical harnesses and components
Route various wires and cables
Terminate cables and wires
Perform operational checks to ensure flight readiness
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems as assigned
Occasionally perform general mechanic installs testing and inspections

Requirements:

Active Secret clearance is preferred but not required to start. Please begin the clearance process upon offer acceptance.
High school diploma or GED
Avionics/Harness Mod experience required
6 years solid electrical/avionics experience preferred
4 years recent aircraft experience considered with relevant fighter jet experience
4 years recent soldering experience required
Must pass soldering test/training

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
