JOB TITLE: F-16 Production Flightline APG Mechanic - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Greenville SC
PAY RATE: $34-40/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Active preferred; not required at start but must be in process or obtained.
Shifts: 1st Shift: Mon Thurs 5:30 AM 4:00 PM; 2nd Shift: Mon Thurs 3:00 PM 1:30 AM

Summary:

Perform/assist with all launch recovery preflight thru-flight and basic post-flight inspections
Conduct ground handling engine runs operational checkouts and aircraft servicing
Troubleshoot install repair and maintain electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems and components
Ensure acceptability of electrical hydraulic-pneumatic propulsion landing gear flight control surfaces periodic inspections general airframe condition aircraft furnishings and crew escape systems
Remove panels and associated hardware as needed to access equipment requiring repair

Requirements:

Active clearance preferred; not required at start but must be in process or obtained.
Landing gear
Powerplants
Flight controls
Fueling/Defueling
Aircraft movement launch and recovery
Aircraft flightline experience preferred
Security clearance at minimum must be in process at time of start
Must be able to work assigned shifts after training
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
