Senior Systems Administrator
Location: Austin TX 78752 Pay Rate: $46-56/hr Duration: Up to 2 years

Responsibilities
- Lead the migration and upgrade of legacy Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems to current supported versions.
- Ensure system security stability and performance through proactive maintenance and modernization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to plan implement and validate system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex OS-level issues on both Windows and RHEL environments.
- Document procedures configurations and best practices for ongoing operational support.
- Maintain compliance with security policies and industry standards throughout all system changes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8 years hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows OS administration.
- Proven track record of successful system upgrades and migrations in enterprise settings.
- Strong troubleshooting diagnostic and problem-solving skills for both Windows and RHEL platforms.
- Experience supporting patching and securing EOL systems.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with RHEL 8/9 and Windows Server 2019/2022.
- Experience working in large mission-critical IT environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. RHCSA/RHCE Microsoft Certified: Windows Server).
