We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java-based automation frameworks and hands-on experience testing payment switches such as Connex or Base24. The ideal candidate will have exposure to mainframe systems and a proven track record of delivering high-quality automated testing solutions in the financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and execute automation test scripts using Java frameworks.
• Perform end-to-end testing of payment switch applications (Connex Base24 or Java-based switches).
• Validate transaction flows settlement processes and card authorization systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage across functional integration and regression scenarios.
• Work with mainframe systems to support testing activities and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify document and track defects ensuring timely resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Java automation frameworks (JUnit TestNG Selenium or similar).
• Proven expertise in testing payment switches (Connex Base24 or Java-based).
• Experience with end-to-end testing in the credit card/payments domain.
• Exposure to mainframe systems (preferred).
• Solid understanding of transaction processing card authorization and settlement workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
