Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Control in Watsonville CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location where you will help manage access control monitor assigned areas and support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and this role you will remain visible conduct routine patrols and deliver strong communication and customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by following site-specific procedures managing access points and supporting security-related protocols throughout the location.
- Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas verify credentials and/or visitor authorization and help to deter unauthorized access within the healthcare environment.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe conditions report unusual activity and support security-related awareness.
- Document daily activities access-related events and incident details accurately and provide guidance to visitors regarding entry procedures and location expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
