Job Summary
About the Role:
This position plays a key role in maintaining the appearance cleanliness and safety of outdoor grounds parking areas hardscape and landscape spaces.
What youll do:
- Mow trim and edge lawns and landscaped areas.
- Plant water fertilize and maintain trees shrubs flowers and turf.
- Remove weeds leaves trash and debris from grounds walkways and parking areas.
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers trimmers blowers UTV ATV and small tractors.
- Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal salting walkways and leaf removal.
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and repairs.
- Perform minor repairs to fences signs sidewalks and outdoor fixtures.
- Load unload and transport materials tools and supplies as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment in safe working condition.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
What youll need:
- 2 years experience preferred
- Strong technical aptitude
- Basic knowledge of typical office software suite
- Maintain a high level of personal integrity and reliability
- Willing to embrace new methodologies work in a strong team environment able to work autonomously and participate in/contribute to building the team through ongoing training
- Perform work in compliance with current codes safety regulations and OSHA guidelines
- Ready to respond immediately to emergency situations or concerns
