Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to support the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of large-scale industrial and manufacturing equipment at our Trenton South Carolina facility. This role requires hands-on experience with complex mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install maintain and repair large-scale industrial and manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance on production machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical system failures
- Repair and service automotive equipment and related components as needed
- Minimize equipment downtime through effective root cause analysis
- Interpret technical manuals schematics and equipment documentation
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company maintenance procedures
- Maintain accurate service logs work orders and maintenance documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the facility
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance equipment service or mechanical repair
- Hands-on experience installing and repairing industrial machinery
- Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and basic electrical systems
- Experience servicing automobiles or automotive components
- Technical training or education in Industrial Maintenance Mechanical Technology or related field
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with PLC systems and basic controls troubleshooting
- Background in manufacturing heavy industrial or production environments
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
