About the Opportunity


MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology team. This unique 30hour-per-week position blends inpatient cardiology hospitalist care with participation in our stresstesting program offering a dynamic and rewarding clinical experience.


What Youll Do

  • Provide inpatient cardiology hospitalist support in collaboration with our Cardiology team

  • Conduct and interpret cardiac stress tests

  • Participate in patient evaluation management and care planning

  • Work closely with physicians nurses and multidisciplinary staff to ensure highquality patient care

  • Contribute to a positive teamoriented clinical environment


What Were Looking For

  • Licensed Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner (Maine licensure or eligibility)

  • Experience in cardiology acute care or hospital medicine preferred

  • Strong clinical assessment and decisionmaking skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care model

  • Commitment to compassionate patientcentered care

Work Schedule

  • Onsite at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta ME and the Thayer Center for Health in Waterville ME

Certifications:
