Job Description
SS&C is seeking BA resources who is responsible for providing business solutions to our external and internal clients through the enhancement of IFDS products and functionality. Senior Business Analysts are lead participants in the project life cycle from inception to production and are required to liaise between our clients and internal development teams to ensure detailed requirements are understood and documented and to facilitate the building or modifying of our applications to meet client and industry needs. At IFDS Senior Business Analysts are also engaged in new client launches conversions activation of products/functionality and support of production issues. The Senior Business Analyst position requires very strong analytical leadership and problem-solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communications. A Senior BA must have proficient knowledge of and experience in all BA Knowledge Areas and SDLC.
Required Skills
Experience of 8 Yrs with requirements analysis and requirements management tools and techniques Experience in various project methodologies within the software development life cycle Strong understanding of IT systems and architectures and the ability to communicate effectively with developers architects and QA. Capability to analyse and model endtoend business processes and understand how technology enables or improves them. ASIS / TOBE process flows. Use of BPMN UML or similar modelling techniques Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to engage stakeholders across business technology and leadership levels. Adheres to software development standards processes and best practices
Demonstrated Capabilities
Good verbal and written communication (English) Takes accountability and ownership of deliverables Business Analysis Planning & SDLC Alignment Partner with clients to understand products services operating model and pain points by running JAD/JAM workshops interviews and observation sessions. Elicit and translate customer needs into business requirements user stories process flows and functional / non-functional requirements with clear acceptance criteria. Manage priorities changes and issues using a transparent governance model; maintain traceability and ensure stakeholders share a common understanding of requirements.
