Position Summary:Since 2011 Yvon Building Supply has established itself as a leading building materials distributor. We service builders and contractors all over Ontario through 6 regional branches and our headquarters located in Burlington. We are currently looking for an entry-level Inside Sales Representative who is looking to grow their career in the building materials industry. This role is available to work out of one of our GTA or Halton region branches. Key Responsibilities: Maintain excellent levels of customer service and represent the Company brand while assisting new and existing customers with their service or product needs (via phone email or in person). This includes being responsible for informing customers of receipts prices shipping dates and delays. Maintain excellent customer service and provide solutions when resolving customer complaints. Monitor inventory records to determine availability of requested merchandise. Maintain administrative duties including inputting orders into the database generating quotations and adjusting inventory records to reflect product movement. Report material shortages and material requirements. Maintain a safe working environment by following all company policies and applicable legislation. Perform other duties as required. Skills and Qualifications:Post-secondary education preferredPrevious experience or knowledge in the construction/trades industry considered a strong assetPrevious experience or knowledge with building materials considered a strong asset Organized and detailed orientedAbility to multi-taskLoves to solve problems Excellent interpersonal skillsExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
