Job Summary
Description
Reconcile inventory balances with general ledger accounts on a monthly basis while maintaining and validating inventory cost data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Calculate and set standard costs for raw materials and finished goods and analyze inventory variances resulting from standard price changes.
Prepare regular cost analyses comparing actual results to budget propose corrective actions and drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within the plant
Monitor inbound freight costs and purchase price variances (PPV) ensuring fluctuations remain within acceptable thresholds.
Prepare and review production-related accounting entries for both group and statutory reporting.
Support the Finance Manager with monthly financial reviews and variance analysis while preparing reports and data insights to support decision-making.
Prepare financial data requested by Business Units and Headquarters for consolidation purposes.
Collaborate closely with Engineering Production Marketing Procurement and Materials teams as a key finance business partner.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures accounting standards quality system requirements and company policies and support internal and external audit activities.
Promote a safe ethical and professional working environment and comply with occupational safety requirements.

For This Role You Will Need:
University degree in a relevant field.
Experience in cost analysis budgeting or financial reporting.
Knowledge of inventory control and production forecasting or planning methods.
Experience working with MRP/ERP systems and accounting applications.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in English and solid PC skills (MS Office Internet Email).
