Job Description:
- Internal reporting:
- Monthly and quarterly financial close under US GAAP reporting for consolidation at group level
- Operating expenses variance analysis (Quarter on Quarter movements)
- Ensuring appropriate transfer pricing policies are being followed
- Maintaining company credit card program for employees for expense reporting
- External reporting Working with an external third party to ensure compliance with:
- Variance statistical reporting requirements
- Annual tax return
- Annual statutory accounts
- SAF-T reporting
- Monthly/Quarterly VAT reporting
- Management of two Accountants including development planning and review
- Other responsibilities
- Cash management and local payments to suppliers
- Payroll payments and associated payroll tax payments
- Liaising with HR and site leadership to ensure the site runs effectively and efficiently
- Input into implementation and running of RD Tax Credit program
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working in a similar role
- Strong communication skills
- English language proficiency
- Extensive experience with: statutory accounts & tax compliance; VAT; Transfer pricing; cash management
- Existing management experience preferable
- Basic US GAAP accounting knowledge would be a benefit
