As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Richmond VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner helping to support orderly operations and timely communication with site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and authorized entry activity following site protocols for visitor processing credential checks and/or incident documentation as assigned.
• Observe the work environment and report maintenance concerns policy violations and/or suspicious activity while providing courteous assistance to people on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
