Description
Devereux has an exciting opportunity to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner!
** This is an Independent Contractor position **
Devereux Florida provides programs and services for individuals with significant intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or emotional or behavioral challenges. This position is responsible for:
- Completing psychiatric evaluations
- Working in collaboration with physician to provide diagnostic and interventionpatient care
- Monitoring and reevaluations as needed
- Medication management
- Participation in physicianpeer review and relevant meetings
As an Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Devereux you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer:

Position Details:
Rate: $75 / hour
Schedule: flexible schedule (4-25 hours/week)
Location: Remote/Virtual (must reside in Florida)
Qualifications
Education and Licensure:
- Masters Degree required
- Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Floridarequired
- Active Medicaid provider number and authorized to provide psychiatric services by Chapter 464 F.S. required
Other Requirements:
- Two years Psychiatric experience required
- Two years experience working with children and adolescents required
- Two years experience working with children and adolescents preferred
