Responsibilities:
- The implementation of MSL ISO45001 & ISO14001 Safety & Environmental Management System
- Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) requirements
- Apply relevant legislation especially the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005
- Ensure alignment with PSDP/PSCS duties were applicable
- Oversee all mechanical works (HVAC piping plumbing) for safe execution
- Conduct site inspections audits and safety walks
- Enforce PPE permit-to-work systems and method statements
- Prepare and review RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
- Ensure proper control measures are implemented and followed
- Deliver toolbox talks and site inductions
- Promote safety awareness and behavioural safety culture
- Investigate incidents near misses and dangerous occurrences
- Report notifiable incidents to the HSA
- Implement corrective and preventive actions
- Liaise with Project Manager
- The maintaining of MSL site safety folders
- Attending daily white board meetings
- Attending site Weekly Safety Meetings
- Attending daily MSL SPA board meetings
- Completing weekly inspections & GA3 & GA2 forms
- Completing weekly toolbox talks
- Updating PMs & CMs on MSL Monthly safety meeting & company safety alerts.
- Completing weekly site audits
- Liaising with the Client / PSCS on safety matters onsite
- Delivering MSL Site Specific Induction
Requirements
- Safety Advisor with DIP in SHWW or recognized equivalent
- Minimum 5yrs Experience
- Mechanical background preferable but not essential
- Pharma Experience required
