Middle Office Senior Analyst / Supervisor
Location: Warsaw hybrid model
We are supporting a leading international financial services organization in their search for a Middle Office Senior Analyst / Supervisor to join the growing Middle Office team in Warsaw. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who brings strong market knowledge excellent communication skills and proven ability to oversee daytoday operational processes within a fastpaced trading environment.
The Warsaw office plays a key strategic role in supporting global functions fostering collaboration innovation and professional development. As a senior member of the Middle Office team you will serve as a subjectmatter expert ensuring operational excellence and supporting both business teams and junior analysts.
Key Responsibilities
In this senior capacity you will be responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations across multiple asset classes including Equities Bonds IRS and FX. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring accurate trade flow from trading platforms to trade capture and Back-Office systems.
- Monitoring and signing off daily checklists and end-of-day controls highlighting outstanding issues.
- Maintaining strong controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Managing escalations and acting as a key point of contact for brokers clients Settlements and Front Office.
- Acting as a goto expert for junior team members providing guidance on processes and best practices.
- Supporting the Middle Office Manager with supervisory tasks as required.
- Delegating work within the team to drive timely and highquality output.
- Ensuring procedures and documentation are uptodate and accurately reflect operational processes.
- Building strong internal and external relationships to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
- Preparing and reviewing daily/weekly/monthly trade reports and exception dashboards for senior management and Front Office.
- Managing communication with brokers and clients ensuring timely resolution of trade discrepancies.
- Leading or supporting Middle Office projects aimed at improving efficiency controls or system enhancements.
- Sharing industry insights and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring project tasks are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Middle Office Trading Support or similar operational role.
- Strong understanding of Equity and Bond markets; knowledge of IRS & FX products is advantageous.
- Expertise in systems such as Fidessa and CTM (essential).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with clients brokers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and work with precision under time pressure.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team showing initiative and reliability.
- Fluent English in both written and verbal communication.
Desirable Qualifications
- ISDA knowledge.
- Broader product knowledge across Fixed Income and Derivatives.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or mentoring capacity.
- Degree-level education (preferred but not essential with strong experience).
