We are looking for a Team Assistant to join the Benefit Street Partners (BSP) Business Development Team in Tokyo Japan. This role has the primary responsibility to provide a full range of business support and administrative services.

How You Will Add Value

  • Provide effective diary and email management support

  • Arrange internal and external meetings with clients and stakeholders

  • Coordinate local and global video/teleconferencing requests including room bookings and technical setup

  • Manage and reconcile monthly corporate card expenses and invoices

  • Handle all travel arrangements including itineraries and visa applications

  • Prepare team meeting agendas and manage logistics including minutes and action items where required

  • Provide ontheground support for internal and external client events and functions

  • Manage relationships with external vendors

What Will Help You Be Successful In This Role

Experience:

  • Minimum five years in a team assistant or administrative role

  • A solid understanding of the financial services industry is preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Native-level Japanese proficiency required

  • English language skills are a plus.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with a high level of clarity and professionalism

  • Experience with customer relationship management systems

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Soft Skills:

  • Confident and effective communicator able to engage with clients and business partners across varying levels of seniority

  • Highly professional and well presented with the ability to demonstrate initiative sound judgment and clear decisionmaking

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational prioritization and timemanagement skills in a fastpaced environment
