Purpose of the Role:
As Senior HR Manager you will serve as a strategic partner to the Jenbacher Operations at our Waukesha facility/site supporting the build-up and development of a high-performing unit. Ensure effective HR structures and processes are in place while attracting and developing the right talent. By aligning people strategy with business goals you will foster a collaborative performance-driven culture that enables operational excellence.
Your responsibilities:
Provide HR leadership to a rapidly expanding Jenbacher Operations ensuring strategic alignment between workforce needs and business objectives.
Provide business knowledge leadership and direction in support of Operations & Supply Chain.
Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics.
Coach leaders and supervisors in effective leadership practices including communication and positive employee relations.
Closely partner with our HR competence centers in the areas of recruiting payroll C&B and HR operations.
Work collaboratively with HR team memebers to ensure consistent site practices.
Focus on development leadership and implementation of local HR projects as well as support in the introduction of company-wide HR programs and standards.
Ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements and regulations including employment matters. Serve as general advisor on employment law and government regulations.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business or related field; PHR SPHR certifications preferred.
Firm grasp of the fundamentals of HR management; minimum of 8 years of experience; minimum of 5 years relevant manufacturing experience.
Experience in an international company service orientation and proactive working style.
Demonstrated businessacumen and ownership of HR as a business partner.
Experience leading positive employee relations and communication programs.
Working knowledge of concepts practices and procedures in areas such as dispute resolution performance management employment law employee relations recruiting/staffing communications and change management learning and development compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping.
Enthusiastic team player who likes to help shape things.
Strong interpersonal written verbal and presentation skills.
