Role Overview
You will work on a mission-critical FX trading platformcontributing across the full lifecycle from requirements analysis todevelopment testing release and L3 support.
This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in JavaCore multithreading and performance optimization with aninterest in financial markets and trading systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain a high-performance trading platform
- Build low-latency highly scalable systems
- Participate in architecture and system design decisions
- Refactor and modernize legacy systems and components
- Work within an Agile SDLC (analysis development testing code reviews)
- Collaborate with production support teams (L3) for releases and incident resolution
- Engage with business stakeholders to validate requirements and deliver solutions
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Java Core (Java SE)
- Expertise in multithreading concurrency and performance tuning
- Deep understanding of JVM internals (Garbage Collection Memory Model JIT)
- Experience building low-latency / high-load systems
- Knowledge of system design & non-functional requirements
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Nice to have: C# / .NET experience
Domain Knowledge (Plus)
- Experience with electronic trading platforms or financial systems
- Understanding of FX exchange trading or financial products
- Exposure to Business Analysis (user stories) and SDLC processes
