Location: Downs House & Stroud House Hampshire
Hours: Days only
Salary: 12.85/hr (review April 2026) weekend enhancements

We are looking for caring and dedicated Care Assistants to join our teams at Downs House and Stroud House providing high-quality elderly care in warm supportive environments.
Downs House is a 46-bed residential care home located less than one mile from Petersfield town centre offering a welcoming setting built on dignity respect and compassion.
Stroud House is a 25-bed home specialising in elderly care including support for residents living with complex dementia. We focus on creating a calm reassuring environment where residents comfort and wellbeing always come first.
If you are an experienced or motivated Care Assistant with a passion for elderly care this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference every day.
Your Role as a Care Assistant
As a Care Assistant you will:
- Deliver personal care and support with daily living activities
- Assist with mealtimes mobility and social engagement
- Monitor residents wellbeing and report any changes
- Maintain accurate care records
- Support colleagues to ensure safe high-quality care
- Promote dignity independence and person-centred care
