Ford is continuing the transformation of its European business as the automotive industry evolves through electrification digitalisation and new partnership models. As part of this transformation Ford is strengthening its M&A integration capability in Europe and is seeking an experienced Senior Manager M&A Integration with a strong background in both management consulting and corporate execution.
ResponsibilitiesThe role
This role is EU focused you will lead the strategic integration of merged and acquired entities joint ventures and other strategic partnerships driving the overall success of these initiatives. You are responsible for overseeing the entire integration lifecycle from due diligence support through post-merger integration ensuring that synergies are realised and strategic value is maximised. This leadership role requires a high level of strategic vision operational expertise and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
You will report to a senior integration leader based in the United States and work within a global matrixed environment. The role includes people management responsibility leading and developing a small Europe based integration team.
This position is intentionally designed for candidates who bring a consulting mindset structured problem solving analytical rigour and senior stakeholder engagement paired with practical inhouse corporate experience and accountability for execution.
Core responsibilities:
- Lead European M&A integration activities from preclose planning through post integration execution.
- Support transaction due diligence using structured consulting style analysis to assess integration risks synergies and execution complexity.
- Translate deal strategy into clear integration roadmaps governance structures and execution plans.
- Act as a thought partner to senior business leaders balancing strategic ambition with operational realism.
- Manage and develop integration team members providing coaching structure and priority setting.
QualificationsYour profile:
- Bachelors degree in business Finance Economics or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Strong experience in M&A post-merger integration transaction advisory or strategy roles.
- Combination of management consulting experience (e.g. top tier or Big 4) and inhouse corporate experience strongly preferred.
- Experience leading teams or complex workstreams in matrixed international environments.
