Job Summary

The Entry-Level Sales Associate is responsible for driving new business growth and managing customer relationships within an assigned territory. This role is a hands-on field-based position focused on prospecting presenting GFLs environmental services and solutions and closing sales to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to launch a successful career in Outside Sales with comprehensive training and mentorship.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling networking and referrals.

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and compelling sales presentations to prospective customers demonstrating how GFLs products and services can meet their needs.

  • Build and maintain strong lasting relationships with new and repeat clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with the Inside Sales and support teams to streamline processes and share best practices.

Knowledge Skills and Competencies:

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn CRM software.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high comfort level for initiating conversations and executive-level interactions.

  • Customer service skills a strong drive for results and a genuine interest in a sales career.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field is a plus.

  • Impeccable customer service skills a strong drive for results and a genuine interest in a sales career.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high comfort level for initiating conversations and executive-level interactions.

  • Highly organized self-motivated and capable of working autonomously and managing time effectively within a territory.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn CRM software.

  • Valid drivers license insurance and a good driving record is required for territory coverage.

Interfaces & Stakeholders:

  • New and repeat clients customers

Physical Demands:

  • Physical activity of walking lifting up to 25lbs

Working Conditions & Travel:

  • Field based 80% percent of time

  • Travel through region 80% percent of time conduct face-to-face meetings and compelling sales presentations to prospective customers demonstrating how GFLs products and services can meet their needs.

  • Build and maintain strong lasting relationships with new and repeat clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
