Job Summary
Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Albuquerque NM 87111
Job Type: Contract / Full-Time
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Schedule: 3 Days per Week
Shift Options: Day or Night (12-hour shifts)
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a long-term care and rehabilitation this role you will provide direct patient care while supporting residents comfort dignity and overall well-being. You will work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure high-quality care aligned with individualized care plans.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- Provide mobility support including transfers ambulation and repositioning
- Monitor and record vital signs; promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with feeding hydration and tracking intake/output
- Maintain a safe clean and comfortable environment for residents
- Follow infection control and hygiene protocols at all times
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Accurately document care provided and observations
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans
Required Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Licensure / Certification:
- Active CNA License (State of New Mexico) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA) Required
Experience:
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Prior CNA or patient care experience preferred
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
