Job Summary

Description

This position will provide administrative support functions to Innovative Educations (InEd) Training & Support team by maintaining and monitoring onsite Faculty Production Stations; assisting with providing time-sensitive support to USF online instructors by troubleshooting and responding to technical questions; assist in quality assurance of InEd offerings by checking links confirming captioning in media and reviewing general accessibility; assist with the design research development and facilitation of workshops and webinars for USF instructors etc.

This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills strong attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This individual will interface with USF Faculty so a positive and professional demeanor is an absolute must.



Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor InEds onsite Faculty Production Stations.

Assist with providing time-sensitive support to USF online instructors by troubleshooting and responding to technical questions.

Assist in quality assurance of InEd offerings by checking links confirming captioning in media and reviewing general accessibility.

Assist with the design research development and facilitation of workshops and webinars for USF instructors.

Assist in the documentation research and review of existing support cases to aid in the creation of future workshop content support documentation or blog articles.

Assist in the refinement and updating of online courses using a variety of tools including Canvas Articulate 360 Storyline Adobe Premier Pro Camtasia Canva and Microsoft Office.

Assist in the administrative support functions of Innovative Educations Training & Support team.



Qualifications

Minimum: Must be in good academic standing at the University of South Florida. Must not be under current disciplinary probation suspension or expulsion. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically PowerPoint Excel Word and Outlook. Have a genuine interest in the field of Instructional Design Online Learning and technical training.

Preferred: Experience developing content in Camtasia Articulate 360 Storyline or similar programs. Experience developing and/or supporting courses via the Canvas LMS or a similar Learning Management System. Experience serving faculty or students in a support role. Have one or more academic calendar year(s) remaining before graduation. Knowledge of online learning pedagogy strategies. Pursing a degree in instructional technology mass communications education. arts or a related field.

Special Skills: Extremely comfortable with online technologies and able to quickly learn an array of e-learning software programs. Excellent writing researching proofreading and editing skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a group setting.
