As a Security Officer Credential Desk in Seadrift TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will help manage access control monitor entry points and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer this role you will remain visible conduct routine patrols and help to discourage unwanted activity while delivering a caring reliable and professional presence backed by teamwork integrity and innovation.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor access control points by verifying identification credentials and/or visitor documentation before allowing entry to authorized areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel vehicles and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and report unusual activity access issues and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document security-related events through detailed reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points operational areas and the perimeter as conditions and responsibilities vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
