We are currently seeking aProject Engineerto support operations inKey West FL.This position is contingent on contract award with an expected start date in May is afull-timepositionrequiring an active DoDSecret Clearance.

This position may be subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Act (SCLS)/Service Contract Act (SCA).

WhatYoullDo

As aProject Engineer you will play a critical role insupporting lifecyclelogisticsmanagement andmaintainingreliable network and system operations for mission-critical assetsthat serve U.S. government role falls under Project Engineer within our compensation will:

  • Performs life cyclelogisticsmanagement duties for GFP/physical assets. Provides primary Network Administrator site support.

  • Directs coordinates and functionally heads planning organization control integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.

  • Plans and formulates engineeringprogram.

  • Assignsproject personnel to specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies product design preparation of specifications and technical plans and product testingin accordance withengineering disciplines of staff.

  • Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles company standards customer contract requirements and related specifications. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems.

  • Directs integration of technical activities and products.

  • Evaluates and approves design changes specifications and drawing releases.

  • Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.

  • Prepares interim and completion project reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:

    • HS DiplomaorGED
    • Experiencewith network administration and/or lifecyclelogisticssupport

  • Certifications:

    • IAT Level II
    • Must have a current and active DoDSecretsecurity clearance.

    • Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies

Travel & Passport

  • Some overnight stays possible.

  • Must have an active passport to support OCONUS travel and/or living requirements.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Periods of prolonged sitting and/or standing including desk-based computer work.

  • Travel between work locations including company offices customer sites and government installations.

  • Occasional extended work hours including evenings or weekends as needed.

  • Transport and use of work equipment such as laptops and job-related tools during site visits.

  • Work is performed in a secure facility where personal electronic devices (including Bluetooth- or Wi-Fi-enabled devices) may be restricted.

  • Physical activities may include bending lifting carrying pushing and pulling materials consistent with established one-person lift guidelines.

  • Use of tools equipment and machinery asrequiredfor the role.

  • Communication with team members customers and stakeholders through verbal and written methods.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities work under deadlines andmaintainattention to detail.

  • Interaction with others in dynamic environments including situations requiring problem-solving and conflict resolution.

  • Compliance with applicable medical or travel requirements for certain assignments including domestic or international travel as required by governing authorities.
