Job Summary
Room Service Order Taker
- Answer guest calls to take food and beverage orders.
- Explain the menu suggest dishes and answer questions about ingredients or preparation.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
- Confirm order details: room number number of guests delivery time allergies or special requests.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and room service team for order preparation and delivery.
- Monitor delivery times to ensure prompt service.
- Handle special requests (dietary needs celebrations special amenities).
- Verify order accuracy and presentation before dispatch.
- Make courtesy calls to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Process billing and charge orders to guest rooms according to hotel procedures.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain clear communication with the kitchen servers and front desk.
- Follow hotel standards for hygiene quality and service.
- Keep records and reports of daily orders.
- Provide courteous professional and personalized guest service.

- Prior customer service/administrative support or experience room service required
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
