Job Summary

Description

The Senior Administration Executive Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for the Universitys financial analysis financial planning financial management and special projects.

The position reports to the Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis.

The role will be based at the Universitys campus in Putrajaya the administrative capital of Malaysia.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for the preparation of the Universitys quarterly forecasting annual budget and long-term financial business plan.
    1. Collaborate with budget holders and provide financial planning forecasting and budgeting advice.
    2. Assist in the development of presentation slides to be presented and delivered to various stakeholders and management teams.
    3. Upload the approved plans to the finance system (Cloud ERP)
  2. Prepare a monthly review of actual vs forecast data to highlight trends and variances to budget holders in order to support and achieve strategic goals and financial sustainability.
  3. Highlight trends and variances to budget holders in order to achieve financial goals and operational efficiencies.
  4. Develop and prepare financial models and analyses to support business initiatives and opportunities.
  5. Perform financial analysis and present findings and recommendations to the Manager and Head of Finance.
  6. Provide reports to internal and external stakeholders and any ad-hoc project as and when required.
  7. Manage the development maintenance and optimization of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
  8. Prepare and maintain MRAC performance and operational reports including offers visa submissions enrolment programme analytics applicant segmentation and Power BI dashboards.
  9. Support continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and enhancing existing systems and processes to improve operational efficiency quality and productivity.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Degree or a professional certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years of working experience in similar capacity
  • Strong financial planning modelling and business analysis experience.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with high degree of commitment to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Well versed with Microsoft Office applications especially proficient in MS Excel and MS Power Point.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Desirable

  • Accounting/CPA/ACCA qualification
  • Experience working in the education industry
  • Minimum five (5) years of working experience in similar capacity
  • Knowledge in Oracle Fusion
  • Able to communicate with all levels
  • Well versed with Power BI tools
