The Commodity Sales professional will be responsible for driving client acquisition trading volume and revenue growth for the exchanges listed commodity derivatives acrossIndian related Institutional business promoting the exchanges products and market structure and acting as the key interface between onshore/offshoreclientsbased in SingaporeIndiaand theMiddle Eastand the exchanges global platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a focused sales strategy forinstitutional trading firmsto grow trading volumes and open interest in listed commodity derivativesin a target driven environment.
- Identify onboard andmaintainstrong relationships withcross segmentIndianfirmstrading from SingaporeIndiaand Dubai.
- Conduct client visits roadshows and product workshopsas.
- Analyse client activity market share and competitive landscape toidentifygrowth opportunities.
- Understand client hedging trading and investment needs and propose solutions using listed derivatives. Collect and distribute feedback internally viaHubSpotplatform and presentation regular business updates to management
- Educate clients oncross bordermarket access channels trading and clearing arrangements and the use of offshore contracts to complement onshore risk management.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns webinars roadshows and industry events to raise the profile of the exchanges commodity franchise.
- Work closely withOnboarding teamsto ensure a seamless client experience from onboarding through live trading.
- Prepare regular business reviews market intelligence reports and strategy updates for regional and global management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in finance Economics Business Engineering or related field; advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g. CFA FRM) is an advantage.
- 510 years of experience in commodity derivatives sales or closely related roles at an exchange broker bank FCM or trading house.
- Strong understanding ofderivatives margining and clearing with specific experience inOTC to futures trading with physical related clients.
- Demonstratedtrack recordof building and managing institutional or corporate client relationships and achieving commercial targets.
- Familiarity with exchange trading platforms market data and typical front-to-back workflows in derivatives markets.
