Description

As our Resiliency Planning Lead youll be a strategic thought partner and a caretaker of talent: coaching sponsoring and growing diverse team of resiliency professionals while shaping how we plan test and improve resiliency across a complex operation. Youll set clear people-first direction and governance so stakeholders know what to do before during and after an incident. Our mission is to continually strengthen our ability to deliver great products and services during any disruption while ensuring plans and summaries meet firm standards. Youll measure success not just by outcomes of resiliency deliverables but most importantly by the growth engagement and wellbeing of the people you lead.

As a Resiliency Planning Lead on the CCB Business Resiliency Planning team you will set direction for resilience across plans and essential services while strengthening your team culture establishing a leadership operating rhythm (1:1s coaching recognition) and build succession depth while your team designs tests and continually improves plans that keep operations running. You will ensure documentation is robust current and aligned with firm standards while serving as a culture carrier who coaches CCB leaders strengthens partnerships across operations technology and risk while translating complex change into clear actionable direction for stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead coach and develop a highperforming team of Resiliency Managershiring for excellence setting a clear bar for leadership behaviors and creating a culture of accountability inclusion and continuous learning.
  • Lead with a servant mindset: listen deeply earn trust remove blockers and enable teams to deliverprioritizing psychological safety inclusion and clarity of purpose.
  • Lead and inspire a positive cultureempowering team members building a diverse leadership bench and succession pipeline and fostering collaboration that bridges organizational pillars to deliver results.
  • Foster a stakeholderobsessed mindsetinnovating how we engage business partners simplifying the path to readiness and embedding resilience into daytoday operations and decisionmaking.
  • Provide strategic leadership so all Business Resiliency Plans and Essential Service Summaries are robust current actionable and aligned to firmwide standardscovering endtoend processes upstream/downstream dependencies and clear roles and playbooks.
  • Partner with process owners to design and embed planning that maintains service continuity across a range of scenarios (e.g. technology failures vendor outages cyber events severe weather and workforce disruptions) minimizing customer impact and time to recover.
  • Use datadriven insights to inform decisionsestablish and track readiness KPIs highlight trends and proactively address emerging risks.
  • Communicate policy program and system changes with precisiontranslating complex topics into clear narratives options and recommendations; advocate for stakeholders and promote the program to strengthen adoption and outcomes.
  • Drive continuous process improvement with a strong riskandcontrols mindsetstreamlining planning testing and reporting eliminating toil and ensuring evidence meets thirdparty audit and regulatory expectations.

Required qualifications skills and capabilities:

  • 5 years of proven people leadership experience with a track record of coaching performance management establishing meaningful cultures and building highperforming inclusive teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skillsable to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels and with crossfunctional partners.
  • Clear concise and confident communicationverbal and writtenwith senior stakeholders; adept at translating complexity into actionable direction.
  • Strong program and project management skillsable to prioritize sequence and deliver multiple commitments with operational discipline.
  • Processimprovement orientation with a strong riskandcontrols mindset; comfortable challenging the status quo to simplify and strengthen outcomes.
  • Broad operations acumen across complex businesses; understands dependencies across operations technology third parties and risk.
  • Exemplary judgment resourcefulness and integritytrusted to make sound decisions in highstakes situations.
  • Fluency with metrics and reporting monitors readiness and risk and uses data to drive accountability.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Proven track record of developing vice presidentlevel talentbuilding succession pipelines delivering candid feedback and elevating leadership capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior leaders and external partners align competing priorities and secure decisions in complex timesensitive environments.
  • Executive presence with senior audiences; frames resiliency risks and tradeoffs with clarity and offers pragmatic options and recommendations.
  • Builds durable trustbased relationships across operations technology risk and third parties; sets shared goals and joint roadmaps that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Experience with resilience disciplines such as business impact analysis dependency mapping scenario testing/tabletop exercises recovery strategies and afteraction reviews; familiarity with service continuity metrics (e.g. RTOs/RPOs) and readiness KPIs is a plus.
