About the Opportunity
Aspart oftheTouringTeamyou willberesponsibleforensuringthat all field staff and partners directly involved within aDiscovabooking execute the operational standards and requirements that will drive customer satisfaction and productivity. This will involve the delivery of best-in-class service and memorable local experiences fortravellers. Operationallyyouwillbe responsible forassigning guides reconfirming reservations handling operational issues and continually providing feedback to management on risks and improvementsinthe ways weoperateour products.
Your main responsibilities are:
Work closely withtheReservation team to ensure all transfers and tourlogistic details are fulfilled according to company SOPs
Ensure 3rdparty services are booked and confirmed either via bulk messaging or email. Once confirmedservice status must be updated in Tourplan to ensure consistency and smooth customer experience
You will be empowered toinitiatenew better OBWs through the proper channels
Effectively cooperate with Fleet Product Reservation Customer Experienceand Suppliers for seamless daily operations and overall service improvements
Ensure 24/7 support on the ground for clientscomplaints and incidentswithappropriate correctiveand preventive measures
About you
The Essentials:
Previousexperience in tourism or DMCan advantage
Degree in tourism and hospitality is an advantage
Fluent in national local language and intermediate to advanced level of written and spoken English
The Attributes:
Well-developed problem-solving skills
Excellent communicator to a diverse range of people (customers suppliers team members leaders)
High attention to detail and strong time/priority management skills
Customer centric with commitment tohigh standardsof service delivery
Able to work both independently and in a team environment
Comfortable with a flexible rotating roster that may include late nights weekends and early mornings
Able to adapt to uncertainties and changes and remain calm under pressure
Personally aligned withDiscovascompany purpose and values
Proficiencywith Microsoft Office applications andDiscovassystems would be an advantage
