Job Title: Receiving Clerk
Pay Rate: $18/hr.
Shift: 1st
Benefits: Medical Dental AD&D PSL
Role is responsible for accurately receiving raw materials packaging and supplies; maintaining inventory records assisting with purchase; and ensuring compliance with food safety quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy quality and condition
- Match deliveries to purchase orders packing slips and bills of lading
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to unload move and store materials safely
- Enter receiving and inventory data into computerized inventory and ERP systems
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories as scheduled
- Identify report and help resolve inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
- Maintain accurate receiving paperwork logs and inventory records
- Provide clerical and administrative support to warehouse and production staff as needed
- Ensure compliance with GMPs food safety requirements and company policies
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean organized receiving area
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Forklift certification and hands-on forklift operating experience
- Basic computer skills (inventory systems data entry Microsoft Office)
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and shipping documents
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand walk bend and operate material handling equipment throughout the shift
