Requisition Summary
This PQI Engineering position is responsible for engineering design issue resolution quality improvement development and production support for engineering issues that primarily arise in PPQA PQI and FVV.

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for engineering design issue resolution quality improvement development and production support.
- Duties involve engineering assistance problem resolution training and other engineering duties supporting various aspects of heavy truck production.
- Designs specific parts in assigned phases of projects applying standard engineering techniques with minimum supervision occasionally requiring independent evaluation.
- Lead and/or participate in 6-sigma initiatives aimed at meeting plant and division quality goals.
- Prepare and present engineering quality status reports and other detailed reporting as directed to various levels of management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- No Travel expected for this position
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- 5 years experience in the manufacturing industry
- Extensive knowledge and use of PACCAR systems such as COPICS OPS EASOP and PCMS preferred. Knowledge of Excel Word and PowerPoint.
- Pro-E experience creating drawings.
