The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Managing Partner - Client Partnershipto lead our relationship with Google a top-tier client WPP Media.

EssenceMediacom manages an integrated mandate for Google in India. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of digital media partnering with a global technology leader to drive innovation and achieve ambitious business goals. Youll be joining a cross-functional team and will be challenged to innovate learn and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Advisor:Build trusted relationships with senior Google stakeholders providing
    insights to achieve their business goals. Be a trusted advisor and partner inspiring trust
    and confidence.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:Lead the thinking on the business ensuring all
    campaigns solve a business problem. Develop and execute innovative media strategies
    aligned with Googles objectives incorporating test-and-learn approaches.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure process diligence and optimize resource allocation to deliver exceptional campaign performance adhering to Googles stringent quality
    standards. Create oversee and ensure process and operational diligence.
  • Financial Management:Manage the client budget effectively ensuring profitability and ROI. Lead quarterly resourcing discussions with MFG Regional feeding into fee and FTE allocations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team fostering innovation and
    continuous learning. This team is exceptionally talented requiring you to earn their trust
    and respect.
  • Industry Leadership: Stay ahead of digital media trends identifying innovative solutions for campaign improvement. Inspire beyond business as usual driving innovation and creative thinking.
  • Outside-In & Stakeholder Engagement:Successfully lead Quarterly Business Reviews and Outside-In engagements with Google India Regional and Global stakeholders as applicable.
  • Key Deliverable:Ensure the best of GM/Partners is made available to Google in India
    (e.g. case studies bespoke events)

What Success Looks Like:

In 3 Months:

  • Deep understanding of EssenceMediacoms operations platforms and tools and the
    overall digital landscape.
  • Grasp Googles priorities in India (consumer apps devices enterprise reputation).
  • Build relationships and earn trust across key teams (Planning Activation Strategy
    Investment Analytics Ad Operations Business Operations).
  • Engage with key stakeholders within EssenceMediacom WPP Media MFG Regional and
    Google.
  • Maintain an accurate view of client demand and resource needs.
  • Develop resource strategies to optimize financial performance.
  • Incorporate audience planning and insights into campaign strategy.

In 6 Months:

  • Lead strategic planning initiatives incorporating test-and-learn methodologies.
  • Successfully lead Quarterly Business Reviews with Google stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide your teams professional development.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and efficiency.
  • Lead quarterly resourcing discussions with MFG Regional.

In 12 Months:

  • Drive significant improvements in campaign performance and efficiency. Develop and
    identify gaps/processes/tools to improve campaign performance and efficiency.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging media opportunities. Identify gaps and opportunities areas for your market and support them to maintain their edge and always stay ahead in the emerging media space within their local markets.
  • Develop your teams talents and create growth opportunities.
  • Enhance the Google relationship improving client satisfaction (TRRs).

Role Requirements:

  • 15 years of experience in media planning buying and strategy with a strong focus on
    digital.
  • Experience working with large complex clients ideally in the technology sector.
  • Masters/bachelors degree in marketing advertising or related field. Masters preferred.

  • Concrete knowledge of all areas of digital marketing and media.

  • Detail-oriented responsive deadline-driven with strong quantitative reasoning.
