Summary
Develop and maintain the master schedule to meet sales and operational objectives for on time delivery and efficient work center loading. Works closely with purchasing and manufacturing to ensure materials components and outside processes are planned and delivered to ensure smooth workflow. Identifies trends and makes realistic assumptions concerning manufacturing capacity material availability lead times and other operating variables.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze customer supplied forecasts and internal ERP open order report.
- Create forecast input data for ERP.
- Creates three month rolling sales forecast.
- Creates daily master schedule using customer supplied demand.
- Create monitors and maintain daily and weekly departmental work schedules.
- Works closely with purchasing to ensure raw material and component delivery meet manufacturing objectives.
- Daily review of departmental progress to plan and work with manufacturing to make adjustment to meet objectives.
- Creates and maintains the Capacity plan per work center
- Coordinates intercompany work within the Precinmac group in order to meet customer demand
- Creates work orders confirming BOM and Routers
- Creates daily hot list and populates communication board.
- Monitors inventory to customer contract commitment to purchase.
- Communicate with customers sales purchasing manufacturing and shipping to meet promised delivery dates.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Work Conditions
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Overtime as required
Requirements
- University or collage degree in MRP preferred
- Minimum five-year experience in a related field
- Highly motivated
- Excellent PC skills including MS Excel Word and Access
- Working knowledge of Business Central or similar ERP system.
- Understands manufacturing materials processes and specifications
- Enjoy a challenge and work with a broad range of people.
- Detailed precise and accurate
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
