Job Summary
We are looking for Middle Full-stack developer to our client Netherlands-based software company active in risk management and compliance. Client offers a software-as-a-service solution and is expanding the product portfolio after a recent partnership investment.
Client is starting a larger product expansion initiative that consists of a partial rewrite and extension of the current platform. The team will rebuild key parts of the application from a low-code environment into standard software engineering technologies.
You will work on extending the existing frontend application and developing new backend services for the future platform. You will operate in a setup where the local team already provides product knowledge functional expertise and project leadership. The project is for 18 months.
We expected that you to do:
- Support the structured rewrite and extension of the existing product.
- Develop new backend services and contribute to the overall target architecture.
- Adapt and extend the frontend to support new data flows and service integrations.
- Deliver with sufficient ownership allowing senior profiles to work independently.
- Collaborate with the internal senior lead medior developer functional designer (acting as product owner) and upcoming product management and UX roles.
- Focus on execution speed and delivery aiming for a functional version by January followed by optimization.
Must-have:
- Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript in modern application development.
- Strong frontend development experience with Angular since the existing frontend will be extended rather than rebuilt.
- Strong backend development experience with -based services focused on building microservices.
- Experience with partial rewrites extending existing products and integrating new services into existing architectures.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English with Clients internal team.
- You must include both frontend and backend capabilities with at least one frontend pair and one backend pair and a stronger emphasis on backend development.
- You must be delivered as a cohesive unit working together and not as individual placements.
- You must be based in the EU
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with NestJS or a similar backend framework.
- Experience in SaaS product development.
- Experience migrating systems from low-code platforms to standard engineering stacks.
- Experience in risk management compliance or regulated domains.
- Open and proactive communication style.
