Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced AVP / General Manager Business Development to lead international business expansion across the United States Canada Europe and other global markets within the Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC) sector.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities building strong relationships with global clients and driving revenue growth through the sale of BIM (Building Information Modeling) Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and engineering design services.

This role requires strong industry networks with architects engineering consultants contractors and infrastructure developers along with proven success in international sales and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand the organizations presence in USA Canada Europe and other global markets.
• Identify and acquire new clients within AEC infrastructure construction and engineering sectors.
• Build long-term relationships with architects engineering firms contractors and project developers.
• Drive end-to-end sales cycles including opportunity identification proposal development contract negotiation and deal closure.
• Promote and sell BIM VDC MEP design structural engineering and digital engineering solutions.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends in the AEC industry.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Lead and mentor the business development team (10 members) to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering Architecture Construction Management or Project Management.
• Minimum 10 12 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the AEC / Engineering / Construction industry.
• Proven track record of new client acquisition and revenue generation.
• Experience selling BIM VDC MEP design or structural engineering services.
• Exposure to international markets such as USA Europe Canada or Australia.
• Strong industry network with architects contractors and engineering consultants.
• Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Must-Have Requirements

• 10 years of experience in Business Development / Sales roles.
• Strong background in AEC / Engineering / Construction industry.
• Experience selling BIM VDC or specialized engineering design services.
• Proven track record in client acquisition and revenue growth.
• Experience managing BD teams of at least 10 members.
• Engineering or Architecture educational background.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with global engineering consulting firms or architecture firms.
• Experience in an offshore/onshore workshare delivery model serving international clients.
• Understanding of global engineering design workflows and time-zone delivery models.
