DescriptionRole Overview
The Product Lead Modern Workplace will own and lead the end-to-end P&L for the Modern Workplace business across India. This role is responsible for scaling a 500 Cr business to 3 growth over the next 3 years while improving profitability by at least 5 basis points through bundles and value-added-services around Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
The role combines business leadership product strategy alliance ownership and execution excellence with a sharp focus on the Indian SMB segment.
Key Responsibilities
- P&L & Business Ownership
- Own complete P&L responsibility for the Modern Workplace business nationwide.
- Drive Annual Operating Plan (AOP) including revenue gross margin and profitability targets.
- Deliver QoQ financial performance through disciplined execution and KPI management.
- Scale the business through high-volume lower ARPU SMB accounts.
- Product & Value Layer Development
- Define and execute the Modern Workplace product strategy around M365 and GWS
- Build and scale value-added services including migration deployment managed services 247 support archiving automation using M365/Teams Teams Phone System and Copilot implementations.
- Create and sell bundles with complimentary cloud & telecom products.
- Alliance & OEM Management
- Function as the primary alliance owner for Microsoft and Google
- Manage Direct and Indirect CSP partnerships.
- Drive OEM agendas programs certifications incentives and GTM motions across the company.
- Sales & Go-To-Market Leadership
- Part of product-specialized sales teams across regions and cities
- Enable regional teams with strong value propositions pricing and sales playbooks.
- Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Product Head CFO CRO Cloud BU Head and Regional Business Heads
- Influence and align leaders at VP level and above.
- Drive execution discipline accountability and data-driven decision making.
- Operating Rhythm & Governance
- Establish strong data-based management systems for forecasting and profitability.
- Improve unit economics attach rates and service margins at scale.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong business acumen with P&L ownership mindset
- Deep understanding of M365 and GWS ecosystems
- Experience in SMB-focused high-volume business models
- Aggressive sales outcome-driven leadership with execution rigor
- Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills
Experience & Background
- 10 years of relevant experience in practice building P&L leadership and IT/managed services
- Direct exposure to Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace platforms
- Experience managing OEM alliances preferred.
Success Measures
- 3 revenue growth over 3 years
- 5 bps improvement in Modern Workplace profitability
- Strong OEM partnership outcomes
