Provide security staff with the skills to detect potential threats and implement effective workplace safety interventions.
We are seeking a Workplace Violence Prevention Consultant to:
- Implement workplace violence prevention programs with a focus on evidence based de escalation strategies for both clinical and non clinical healthcare employees.
- Deliver specialized training for security personnel including advanced de escalation techniques conflict resolution skills and appropriate use of control and intervention strategies.
- Develop update and manage training materialspresentations handouts e learning modules and job aidsto support continuous workforce education.
- Conduct incident debriefings following workplace violence events and create actionable improvement plans to enhance future responses.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to ensure best practices and regulatory compliance are integrated into prevention initiatives.
- Actively participate in the Workplace Violence Prevention Committee presenting data program activities progress updates and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing Psychology Criminal Justice Social Work Education or related field. Required
- Masters Degree in relevant subject area. Preferred
Work Experience
- 3 years Experience in violence prevention de-escalation crisis management or a related field within a healthcare setting. Required
- Experience in training program development and facilitation preferably in workplace violence prevention conflict resolution or de-escalation techniques. Preferred
- Experience working with or training security officers Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Instructor certification (Crisis Prevention Institute) within 6 months Required
