The company designs engineers and manufactures industry-leading full volumetric modular units for Upper-Midwest clients in a 180000 SF state-of-the-art facility in Albertville MN. Job: Maintenance Technician Job description: This role will directly lead by; training and working alongside crew members in our production construction environment. This role will be responsible for but not limited to: Inspecting work progress equipment and to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met. Responsibilities: - Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Inspect air compressors overhead cranes motors and belts check fluid levels replace filters or perform other maintenance actions
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools such as hammers hoists saws drills and wrenches to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
- Assemble install or repair wiring electrical and electronic components data cables security equipment welding/fabrication air systems pipe systems and plumbing machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them checking blueprints repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary
- Operate and maintain company vehicles as needed for on-site and off-site tasks including transporting tools materials and equipment. Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks such as monitoring fluid levels tire condition and reporting any mechanical issues to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Inspect operate and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
- Working at heights with various construction equipment.
- Grounds keeping lawn maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
