Markets provides solutions to clients with the means to manage their exposure through various derivatives lending and cash products across Structured Products Group Rates Equities Foreign Exchange Municipal Products Group Credit Sales & Trading.

About this role:

The Veteran Experienced Talent (VET) Program is a 6-week direct hire program dedicated to hiring military talent. Veterans are hired as full-time employees and will receive support and coaching aimed at supporting transition into Wells Fargo. The program includes a two-day Military Orientation led by the Military Talent Strategic Sourcing (MTSS) Team or Learning and Development Facilitators. Weekly professional development sessions are held to ease transition network and build camaraderie within the addition VET Program Alumni are available to mentor and support hires.

Program Expectations:

  • Service in any branch of the United States military
  • Must be able to start on the anticipated start date
  • Must be off active duty no later than the anticipated start date

Structured Products Group (SPG) Banking within the Markets division of CIB provides structured lending and securitization services to core clients across all asset types including consumer & commercial assets corporate loans residential mortgages and commercial mortgages.

In this role you will:

  • Work collaboratively on the SPG Portfolio Management team which is responsible for credit administration and portfolio management activities across all SPG businesses
  • Work collaboratively on the SPG Deal Execution & Administration team to support loan onboarding activities
  • Distill complex information from various sources into digestible formats for executive reporting (typically powerpoint). This entails drawing conclusions presenting findings and insights to management
  • Track multiple work streams projects and due dates
  • Support SPG head of Portfolio Management in monitoring reviewing and reporting on credit risk

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 months of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to reconcile & analyze data and put it into a presentation format for senior leadership
  • Experience in capital markets financial services or consulting including relevant management project management and/or investment banking experience (or military experience in reporting and project management)
  • Knowledge of investment banking and capital markets products
  • Strong organizational multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Demonstrates sound judgment

  • Flexibility
  • Ability to build strong partnerships within CIB and Wholesale more broadly
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements.
