Job Summary
This position will serve our Air Conditioning Division located in Lewisville TX
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay: Starts at $26.75/hour
Sign on bonus available!
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Waters and rotates forklift batteries
Lubricates the basiloids
Paints and maintains safety lines throughout the warehouse
General maintenance and repair in the facility
Switches out forklift attachments when needed
Maintains the placement and installation of location barcode labels
Ensures chains and equipment for docks are functioning properly
Completes routine functionality checks for dock plates
Lubricates dock levelers when needed
Swaps out dock lock lights when required
Installs all barriers and bollards throughout the warehouse
Performs preventative maintenance on dock locks and shelters
Supports coordinating maintenance contractors as needed
Repair facility doors
Maintains and repairs large metal trash bins as needed
- Move furniture as needed
- Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive professional relationships
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
High school diploma/GED preferred
Basic math language and reading skills; basic computer skills
At least 2 years of warehouse maintenance experience required
At least 1 year of forklift experience required
Preferred forklift certification per OSHA standards
Ability to follow direction
Basic understanding and use of the English language is required for the safe and effective performance of the job
Work Environment
- Non-climate controlled facility
- Non-climate controlled inside trailers
May work outside
Physical Demands
Sittingstanding walking bending for extended periods
Occasionally lifting 50lbs
Pulling and/or pushing
