Document Imaging & Logistics Specialist (Temporary)
Location: In-Office (Carrollton TX) Status: Temporary / Full-Time
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Document Imaging & Logistics Specialist to join our post-closing team for a temporary on-site this role you will be the guardian of our digital and physical file flow ensuring that critical mortgage collateral is accurately scanned indexed and prepared for daily shipment to our investors and warehouse banks.
Key Responsibilities:
High-Volume Imaging: Operate commercial-grade scanners to digitize loan packages based on funding and disbursement dates with an immediate focus on Priority Files.
Quality Assurance: Conduct a first-pass review of all digital images to ensure clarity and accuracy correcting any system errors or hardware jams in real-time.
File Management: Organize physical folders by Warehouse Bank separating collateral documents from closing packages to ensure a streamlined delivery process.
Logistics & Shipping: Track daily package progress and ensure all physical shipments are ready and picked up by UPS/FedEx at the end of every business day.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and efficient workspace following specific procedures for scanner upkeep and reporting mechanical issues to leadership.
Tracking & Reporting: Maintain detailed scan logs and error reports to ensure 100% accountability for every file processed.
Who You Are:
Detail-Obsessed: You understand that a blurry scan or a missing page can delay a million-dollar funding. You dont cut corners.
Technically Proficient: You are comfortable working with high-speed commercial scanners and have a basic understanding of MS Office.
A Team Player: You thrive in an all-hands-on-deck atmosphere and can handle the pressure of tight end-of-day shipping deadlines.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1 years of experience in a professional office environment specifically working with commercial scanners or high-volume copiers.
Skills: Strong time-management and multi-tasking abilities; excellent written and oral communication.
Knowledge: A basic understanding of the Life of a Loan post-funding and mortgage-related terminology is a plus.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
