Job Summary
Position: Automation & Integration Engineer

Strong experience with REST APIs:
o Meraki Dashboard API
o Datadog API (events monitors pipelines)

Were looking for a hands on Automation & Integration Engineer to build and operate event driven pipelines across Meraki Datadog PagerDuty and ServiceNow.
This is NOT a traditional network engineer role - its a Python API integration observability engineering role.
You will design and own the full workflow:
Meraki Datadog Custom Logic PagerDuty ServiceNow Incidents

What Youll Do
Build end to end API-based integrations for Meraki Datadog PagerDuty and ServiceNow
Develop Python microservices for event ingestion filtering enrichment correlation retries and idempotency
Create Datadog monitors event pipelines processors tags and routing logic
Implement PagerDuty event rules routing rules escalation paths service integrations
Build ServiceNow Incident/CMDB integrations (Table API Import Sets Transform Maps Scripted REST)
Deploy via CI/CD containerization (Docker) Git workflows
Own reliability with SLOs metrics dashboards logs alerts and pipeline health checks
Create clear architecture diagrams sequence flows and runbooks
Required Skills:

Hands on experience with event-driven automation:
o Idempotency keys
o Backoff/retry logic
o Rate limit handling
o DLQ patterns
Datadog monitors pipelines event processors
PagerDuty incident automation
ServiceNow incident CMDB integration experience
Docker CI/CD (GitHub Actions GitLab or Azure DevOps) Git branching
Understanding of JSON schemas payload mapping correlation IDs
Nice to Have:
Datadog Workflows or serverless automation
ServiceNow IntegrationHub / Flow Designer
Terraform modules for Datadog PagerDuty SNOW
Messaging/queueing systems (Kafka SQS RabbitMQ)
Basic networking knowledge; Meraki familiarity preferred
