Join our dynamic team as the Strategic Real Estate Coordinator and be a part of a department that helps shape the future of our City! We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to actively support the administrative functions of the Strategic Real Estate Department.
The Strategic Real Estate department administers all aspects of the Citys real estate program and particular the department seeks to maximize the Citys returns from its property holdings and ensures the City has the appropriate real estate portfolio to meet its current and long-terms needs.
With a supportive and collaborative work environment the Strategic Real Estate Coordinator is ideal for individuals with administrative experience related to the property management real estate or legal fields who are eager to contribute to our work plan initiatives and day-to-day operations. This position is located in our office at 30 Centennial Square and will be required in-person due to the nature of the work.
FLEX
The successful candidate for this vacancy would participate in a modified work week earning a flex day off each bi-weekly period by working additional time each day. Modified work weeks established in accordance with the CUPE Local 50 Collective Agreement and are subject to change.
POSITION FUNCTION:
Under the guidance of the Director of Strategic Real Estate this position actively supports the administrative functions of the Strategic Real Estate Department ensuring the integrity of land and property information for the City aligns with established rules regulations policies and procedures. Responsibilities encompass monitoring and tracking various real-estate initiatives research administrative assistance to internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the confidentiality and retention of important records files and correspondence.
