OVERVIEW
The University of St. Thomas Department of Modern and Classical Languages invites applications for an adjunct faculty member in Italian to begin in September 2026. The successful candidate will teach one in-person section of Elementary Italian I and one in-person section of Elementary Italian II on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:35-3:10 and 3:25-5:00. This adjunct appointment is for the Fall semester with the potential for continuation into the Spring semester to teach the same course schedule contingent upon departmental needs and enrollment.

Salary Range: The salary range for the College of Arts and Sciences Adjunct positions ranges from $5994 to $6717 (per 4 credit undergraduate course 3 credit graduate course). Rate of pay is determined by academic credential and years of teaching experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualifications:
- A Masters degree with at least 18 graduate credits in Italian or closely-related field
- Prior teaching experience is preferred
