Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to serve as a clinical and operational leader during off-shift hours (evenings nights weekends and holidays) in a large Skilled Nursing Facility.
This role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations across multiple units ensuring high-quality patient care regulatory compliance and efficient facility-wide coordination. The ideal candidate will provide clinical expertise support staff through mentoring and coaching and manage patient flow in a fast-paced high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing care delivery across all units
- Act as the primary clinical resource for escalation and decision-making
- Facilitate admissions discharges and patient flow
- Mentor and support nursing staff through coaching and guidance
- Respond to emergencies codes and incident management
- Implement de-escalation strategies for behavioral situations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (DPH TJC OSHA)
- Monitor and report incidents and sentinel events
- Oversee infection control and isolation protocols
- Manage staffing coordination and productivity
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Promote workplace safety and HIPAA compliance
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care setting
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in nursing operations
- Strong knowledge of emergency response and risk management
- Experience managing behavioral and de-escalation situations
- Ability to multitask and lead in a high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Education Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) or higher from an accredited program
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
