What Youll Do

The principal purpose of this position is to provide material and requirements planning and analysis for the Pantex Program Planning Organization ensuring that accurate quantities of materials are available to support the Master Production Schedule. The work requires demand planning inventory forecasting and strategic coordination to ensure that timely delivery and shipment of parts are maintained for successful completion of program schedules. Material and Requirements Planners utilize requirements documents and advanced applications to proactively identify and prevent component impacts. Team members support communication between Operations Engineering and Program Integration along with providing interface to other supporting organizations including external agencies within the nuclear Security Enterprise so that critical resources are available for use.

Additional responsibilities include; Performance Metrics for Requirement(s) Reporting and close work with Program Integration Process Engineering Nathional Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Department of Defense (DoD) Design Agencies and other Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) Stakeholders

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Masters degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • OR Applicants without a bachelors degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 10 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph pursuant to 10 CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
